By purchasing your starter pack, you will also receive:
- your shop will appear on our ‘Sunday Pals’ map
- your shop will be eligible to be featured in our weekly ‘time to write’ reminder email

Cafes/Shops can choose how to use their pack:
• Promotional option – offer the writing paper free to visitors who want to join the project
• Retail option – sell the sheets and stickers individually at around £1.50 each to recoup your costs, or combine with envelopes to create your own packs.
We recommend framing the poster for display near your counter or writing paper area.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT HOW THE LETTER HOLDER NETWORK WORKS:
As a Letter Holder, your shop will:
• Hold letters safely for local participants who are writing to and receiving from penpals around the world (they will write to other shops, who will also hold the letters for locals).
• Display your poster to explain the project and invite customers to take part.
• Provide or sell writing paper included in this pack (£1.50 RRP per sheet, or offer free to promote the project).
• Use your shop address as your public Letter Holder address, for example:

• Customers will be in charge of sending their letter to their chosen shop destination, unless you wish to offer a postage service with your existing online orders
• You will be responsible for holding incoming letters for collection by the named recipient.
• You are welcome to charge a reasonable administration fee for the service to make it viable for your individual shop.
There’s no extra admin or membership fee — just display your poster, hold the letters securely, and enjoy being part of something meaningful that draws people into your shop.
